FRILL CANARY CLUB NEWS

Following last year’s very successful show with an entry of almost 75 Frills, out of 150 Old Varieties, the largest for many years, the Frill Canary Club, will also for this year team up with the South Bucks Canary Breeders Association Open Show, for their Club Show.
The show will take place on Saturday 17 November 2012 and will be judged by Kevin McCallum, a very well known and very experienced Old Variety and Frill Canary judge.
Also for this year the show will be sponsored by Simon’s Exclusive who donated vouchers for the value of over £50.00.
There will also be a beautiful rosette from B. P. C. Canary Club of Liege, Belgium; this will be awarded for the Best Frill Canary and 3 Rosettes from the IOA that will be awarded for Best Parisian, Best Fiorino and best North Frill.
This year is the club’s 22nd anniversary, and to mark the occasion, special diplomas for best in each section will also be awarded.
Only paid up members are to compete for the prizes, so if you have not paid your subs for this year yet, you are still on time, as long as you pay them by the 10th of November.
Members are reminded that subs are due from 1 January and remain at £10.00 for 2013.
Club badges are £3.00 plus 50p postage.
